Way of the Con-Artist, a true crime meta-story from Goa, India

For travellers, artists, adventure seekers and true-crime enthusiasts.

While filming Elephants in India, white Western filmmaker gets entangled in an effective 10-day hostage with Confidence Artists – converts the experience into a movie, with meta-twists.

Feature-length tragi-comic docudrama exposing the techniques and psychology of Con-artists through dramatisation of the core story interwoven with the filmmaker’s narrative of how in making the film he himself felt like a con-artist – promising a world-class film but struggling in Goa with tropical conditions and a crew of one – disillusionment, abandonment and critical equipment failure among the endless challenges faced by low-budget filmmakers.

Can he deliver the high quality film that was proposed ?

Is he himself becoming a con-artist ?
